"Our Garden" Poem by AB~

I'm thinking I need you forgiveness,

For all of the things that I do,
Even though I'm asking,
It's not like I set out to hurt you,
I know sometimes I'm childish,
And tomorrow, seems far away,
I really I need to plan better,
And not just live for today,
I know our futures golden,
Your building it to be,
And though I too have hardships,
All your struggles, I know, are for me,
Maybe you think I am selfish,
That I can't see all that you do,
But if you could see my thoughts,
You'd see how much I respect you,
I totally think you're perfect,
Because you're, just what I need,
Everyone has flaws,
And every garden has a weed,
But what your planting special,
It's sprouts are pruned and planned,
And you know that it won't flourish,
If it's planted in all sand,
So your trying nourish the soil,
That our flower may blossom and grow,
And even though your still learning,
Your doing the best that you know,
Maybe you can't see its raining,
And the sun is shining bright to,
That when I seem to be selfish,
I'm really trying to show you,
Our gardens sprouting a rainbow,
It's growing right out of our tears,
The soil you think is sand, is rich,
And you need to let go of your fears,
Our flowers already have blossoms,
There in all of the things that we do,
And I guess when I ask your forgiveness,
What I'm trying to say is, I love you.

We were walking hand in hand,

The oceans waves were beating,

As our feet sunk in the sand,

I had a dream about you,

We were lying in the grass,

Watching clouds, high above,

As the time did pass,

I had a dream about you,

We were sitting in a tree,

Talking 'bout our childhood,

And the times to be.

I had a dream about you,

We were nestled in some hay,

I tickled you with straw,

And you wrestled it away,

I had a dream about you,

In a small cafe for tea,

I was starring in your eyes,

They were staring back at me,

I had a dream about you,

We were reading in the shade,

The birds were singing to us,

As together their we laid.

Rain running down your face,

I went to wipe it off,

And we kissed in sweet embrace,

Blue is the sky,
Green are the trees,
Fresh is the cool morning air,
Children playing,
Children laughing,
Like, they've never a care,
Merry their laughter,
Just like sweet music,
Gladly they chatter and play,
Running and jumping,
Dancing and singing,
Blowing bubbles away,
They are my teachers,
They teach resilience,
Every days precious and new,
Too keep on believing,
Too keep on loving,
It matters each day what you do,
Even in sorrow,
They lift my spirits,
Just like a feather on air,
What I teach them,
Feels so little,
To what they teach, in compare,
They are golden,
They are magic,
They keep me young as they are,
A panacea,
A fountain of youth,
They have more power by far.

Friends they are like flowers,

Unique in every way,

Other friends are stronger,
